Elena Storer Nitzberg, M.F.T., Ph.D.
Life is to enjoy and sometimes a little help can make the
difference you never imagined possible.
When we reach the tipping point in our lives it’s hard to
trust that talking to someone might help. But it can.
We seek therapy for many reasons:
a personal crisis, break-up, loss of work, confusion, inability to
focus, looping thoughts, sadness, anxiety, transition, a loved one
has died, serious medical diagnosis, concerns about our children,
our relationships, feeling overwhelmed, problems with sexual intimacy,
recent and past trauma, sexuality, emotional and spiritual growth
to name a few.
I love this work and through empathy and understanding I can help
you over those humps in life that hamper happiness and connection with
others as quickly and painlessly as possible.
Do you want to increase intimacy and joy in your relationships?
I can help whether your relationship is in crisis, or mostly harmonious. Sometimes just a tune-up
is all that’s needed.
High School and College age students are a group I enjoy working with
and have worked with extensively for two years at San Francisco City
College and in private practice. It is a difficult time for most and
a great time to receive extra help.
Finally, I have experience with those suffering from autoimmune problems
which interfere with the quality of life, mood, as well as life threatening
diagnoses, and all forms of loss including dying and death of a loved
one.
I offer a sliding scale, Saturday and evening hours.
